We advocate for the elderly depression rehabilitation is the realization of comprehensive rehabilitation, not only to achieve physical rehabilitation, psychological rehabilitation and social rehabilitation, more important, so that the elderly can really integrate into the collective, social life.Through the study of relevant literature can be found, the most of senile depression is studied from the angle of depression from the aspects of medical diagnosis, treatment, nursing and so on, is a small part of research to develop from the psychological point of view, the use of psychological theory, and the intervention from the perspective of social work for the aged less research depression, especially the research from the perspective of social work practice is less.Several case by Shanghai Yangpu District New Jiangwan nursing home this article as a starting point, from the micro level, method to carry out direct case, group service implementation on the rehabilitation of elderly depression, because of this a few old similar, in this paper in order to simplify the analysis, only a case of typical cases. The author through the client assessment, decided to adopt the cognitive therapy, the system ecological theory, the strengths perspective and empowerment theory, focusing on the main advantage of enhanced case found case, confident in the Lord, let the family institution support system, peer relationship support system, achieve the social rehabilitation of the Lord through the development of case work in particular, in the service of group work.
