Small-class teaching is a dynamic process which is based on researches of the sizeof class. It fully shows the modern idea of education, and has become the trend ofthe developed education. For nearly ten years, the small-class teaching experimentshave been carried out widely in many places in our country and achieved a lot.However, the effective researches on small-class teaching in senior high school arestill in their infancy, and achieved just a little. In this thesis, the author will researchon the feasibility and necessity of the Chinese teaching in small classes and come upwith some effective strategies.First, the thesis stated the theory evidence of the effective researches of Chineseteaching in small classes, and explained the theory evidence and the relativeconcepts. Next, it compared the modes of Chinese teaching in big classes and smallclasses and made the importance of small-class teaching more clear. During theresearch process, the author collected the data and discovered the problems throughthe questionnaire of the students and interview of the Chinese teachers in smallclasses. And it analyzed the cases of teaching in the process of Chinese teaching.Also, it presented some thoughts of the effective teaching in Chinese and putforward the way of solving these problems.
