Small-class education has been popular in developed countries in Europe and America since the 1980 s.Since then,a wave of "small-class education" reform has been set off in educational circles of various countries.Small-class teaching as a new teaching mode,not only refers to the lower class sizes,but on the premise of smaller classes guided by the teachers,advocating student-centered development with personalized attention to each student.This is in order to cultivate autonomous learning by the students and exert the students' intrinsic motivation for education,applied equally in the classroom environment in all aspects of their education.In South Korea this type of small class teaching has become a trend.This paper focuses on small-class teaching in South Korea and its application in primary Chinese classes,through the contrastive analysis of teaching examples.This paper will also use the junior elementary school Chinese teacher in South Korea's investigation to discuss the advantages of small-class teaching elementary Chinese classes in South Korea,concluding with proposals to optimize the South Korean small-class teaching in elementary school Chinese class.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly discusses the reason and significance of the topic selection in this paper.It also reviews and analyzes the research results of small-class teaching in China and abroad,summarizes the theoretical basis of small-class teaching mode,and determines the research object and research method of this paper.The second part mainly expounds the definition and historical development of small-class teaching and discusses the advantages of using small-class teaching mode in Chinese class of Korean elementary school.The third part is the main part of this paper.Through real classroom teaching cases,it compares the actual teaching effect under the small-class teaching mode and the large-class teaching mode.Combined with the investigation of Chinese teachers in elementary schools in South Korea,it finds out the advantages of the small-classteaching mode.In the fourth part,through the practice and research on the application of the small-class teaching mode in Chinese class of south Korean elementary schools.The author summarizes the difficulties and puts forward corresponding Suggestions.The last chapter is the summary of this paper.
