With the deepening of the new round of the basic education curriculum reform,changes in high school geography teaching and learning is very important. Cooperativelearning in high school geography classroom, students’ subject status has becomeincreasingly prominent. However, on the one hand to carry out effective cooperationlearning in geography class relies on the cooperation of intermediary, on the other hand,the students in learning geography process usually exhibit knowledge structure is notcomplete, lack of information extraction ability two big problems. Therefore, the authorattempts to cooperative learning mindmap into high school geography, and to explorewhether this method can improve the effectiveness of cooperative learning in high schoolgeography.The author mainly uses two different groups pretest and posttest quasi experimentalresearch method and survey method was studied on the following contents: how to usethinking of Geography Teaching Map1, high school? How2, high school geographyteaching cooperative learning situation? Whether to use mind map?3, how to use mindmapping to carry out cooperation in high school geography learning?4, confirmed usingmind map to carry out cooperative learning in senior high school geography is the effect?What are the effects? The results are as follows:1、From the questionnaire survey ofstudents, both on the investigation, build a balanced degree survey of geographicalknowledge, initiative and the integrity of information extraction or ability, problem solvingability in high school geography cooperative learning, two classes of students present feelthe difference is not big.2、Quantitative scores from the students before and after theobjective measuring knowledge framework, test run, using mind map to cooperate in highschool geography learning class learning effect was significantly higher than that ofcooperative learning in high school geography class only.3、This study presents theapplication of cooperative learning in high school geography thinking map is a completeteaching case.4、In the teaching process of thinking that cooperation learning of highschool geography map。(1)The thinking in high school geography cooperative learning ismore convenient to record each students in cooperative learning to speak in the map, moreconducive to the teacher to the student of formative assessment, help students constructclear geographical knowledge system, helps the students found that geography knowledgeof internal links, balanced participation is more conducive to the members of cooperativelearning.(2)From the two classes of knowledge framework after the test can be seen, thethinking of cooperation of Geography in senior high school students the knowledge betterin their knowledge map, and positive thinking, form transformation of knowledge system.(3)On two classes of the post test analysis can be found, the students from the questionof extracting information more comprehensive knowledge reserve, mobilize more clearand easy.
