With the development of the network, our society is in the emerging informationtechnology era, the computer games is one of the main entertainment for teenagers,and have the profoundly affects in study, life, work, communication and also the havethe influence in cognitive of the youth. The game is a simulation of the real world, thegame presents information has educational meaning and value in a certain extent, thecombination of education and games that education games gradually is widely used asa new kind of knowledge carrier. Educational games can train the users’ knowledge,skills, intelligence, emotions, attitudes, values, and computer game software also hassome educational value. The educational game has created a free, fun and innovativelearning environment for learners, and entertainment learning style will be themainstream of development direction of learning and education.Children not only are the hope of the family, but also the future of the country,their safety affects many families, so safety education of primary and middle schoolstudents is very important. The safety education can enhance the students’ wawrenessof daily safely, and can improve the ability of self-protection and in the meantime,can avoid accident happening. Because of the education game have educational andentertaining, and also have virtual, participatory, interactive, exploratory, openness,competitive, experiential, challenging the characteristics, so the education gameapplied to safety knowledge education can stimulate students’ interest, to make thestudents in the process of playing a game of subtly study, understand and grasp thesafety knowledge.In the process of education research and practice application game, itseducational and the game has become the focus of attention, the maximum balanceeducational and game is the key points of the game. The education game in practicalapplication to the classroom teaching met with many difficulties and obstacles, inorder to overcome the existing difficulties, ShangJunJie and others put forward the"light game equal the mainstream education software puls the intrinsic motivation"design concept for the teaching of game which provides a good theoretical framework, this idea got more approve from scholars, and applied into practice.In this paper, according to the characteristics of the education game, based on thecurrent education game problems applied in teaching and education game in the fewcurrent situation of safety education application, put forward the development way ofthinking of education game combined with safety education, with "light game" as thecarrier of safety knowledge, expand, enrich the education game resources, and fullythe advantages of mobile platforms. Designed and developed a mobile oriented whichbased on the "light game " traffic safety education games. Mainly following theseveral aspects:The first is the educational game theory and application research status both athome and abroad were analyzed and reviewed. Foreign research on educational gamemainly involves educational value, game design and development patterns, evaluationmode, and the application. Domestic research on educational game design focused oneducational games’ nature, the value, design and development. Among them, is hasbecome the focal point that consider it’s educational and game entertainment’sbalance in addition how to design, and develop educational game software.The second is related theory of education game comprehensive analysis, basedon the constructivism learning theory, the theory of multiple intelligences, situatedcognition, flow theory, the hierarchy of needs theory, intrinsic motivation theory,experiential education game design model, EFM education game design model, ect.To put forward the basic design and development framework of educational game.The third it is through the primary and middle school students’ physical andmental development characteristics, the analysis of the cognitive level, expounds thecontent of primary and middle school students’ safety education and the educationvalue of the safety educational game, to put forward the safety educational gamedesign framework for primary and middle school students, mainly related to safetyeducation teaching design, as well as the game structure, interface, situation,including role-playing, tasks at the same time and level, evaluation and guidance.The fourth is to analysis many popular and favorite traffic safety educationalgame case, such as the master of driving game, bible of travel, bible of walker, trafficsigns chess, traffic signs around the dragon, know the traffic signs, traffic signs link game, to put forward the feasibility of combining safety education and educationgame by examples and considering the scientific of safety education game designframework.The fifth is based on the "light game" definition, characteristics, designprinciples and function analysis, under the support of relevant theories, using theAndroid development tools on the mobile platform design, developed in the form of"light game" to present the traffic safety educational game of primary and middleschool students.
