Embedded Development Of Professional Social Work In Community Service

Current community service calls for the embedded development of professional social work in community. What’s more, the Party and the government have introduced a series of policies to promote the development of community service. These policies create a favorable policy environment for the embedding practice and research of professional social work in community.Based on the case study of X community, Beilin district, Xi’an city, Shaanxi province, the author summarizes the need and problem in X community with the help of interview and participant observation. At the same time, under the embedding theory’s instruction, the author explores the embedding subject and embedded space of the professional social work in the community service. On the basis of the above research, the author puts forward three specific embedded ways of professional social work in community service:first, the specific service activities way; second, project activities way; three, institutional way, by giving the detail illustration and explanation in the paper.The study has a great significance for effective development of community service:first, for professional social work itself, the study will be helpful to the perfection of the theory study of the professional social work embedded into local community service, and provides certain reference for the localization of professional social work practice method; second, from community service perspective, the study will contribute to improving the community service effect, and the professional level and eventually improve the level of the residents’ welfare.
