Today, in this era of “information explosion”, educational informationization is increasingly valued by the society. In the "Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)", “educational informationization” is categorized as a single chapter in which promoting information technology and teaching are integrated as a development of teaching task. At a time when technology develops so fast, there is no doubt that combination of information technology such as computers, network, and Chinese teaching, writing teaching will be a tendency in the future. As Chinese teachers, whether we are willing to take the initiative to adapt to this change, the wave of educational revolution will definitely take us to forward to a better place, but we make big strides forward or forward in a hesitate largely depends on whether we are willing to change the mindset and practices today, trying to use information technology to teach and timely to review and summary.This paper attempts to study the integration of information technology and writing teaching in primary school, basing on personal practice with the guidance of constructivist learning theory and educational communication theory.Chapter one summarizes the problems of Chinese writing teaching in primary schools in our country, proposing an idea of integrating teaching with information technology and discussing that the integration of material basis and the demand of developing writing teaching is already possessed.Discusses the theoretical basis of the integration of information technology and Chinese writing teaching in terms of constructivist theory and educational communication theory.Chapter two discusses the value of the integration, advocating that it can develop students’ writing in their early age, improve their writing efficiency, construct an open space for writing, develop interpersonal relationship in writing, optimize evaluation methods and relieve teachers’ marking pressure at the same time, etc.Chapter three summarizes the general pattern of information technology and the integration of teaching elementary school writing, carrying out a detailed analysis of the experimental study result which focuses on the practical application model.Concentrating on the lack of Chinese research writing teaching study in such current network environment, chapter four discusses this issue in a separate chapter, illustrating the connotation, features as well as value of writing teaching. Also, the importance of network cannot be ignored for writing teaching. After having summarized the general mode of research writing teaching in network environment, several practical examples are provided and analyzed. Furthermore, general problems existing in research writing teaching in internet environment are sorted out and the corresponding solutions are provided as well.Chapter five summarizes the findings and proposes questions which are worth being explored.
