Research On Application Of M00C Learning Platform

With the rapid development of Network Technology and the accelerating of people’s life rhythm, the traditional network education can’t meet people’s a variety of learning content and learning of individual requirements, so the MOOC arises at the historic moment. MOOC, let the world see the dawn of the future education. MOOC has a high requirement on the platform, not only the perfect function and realizing the MOOC theory, but also need to optimize the processing core platform. Making the platform has lightning speed of response. Moodle is a free and open source course management system, developed by the Australian Dr. Martin Dougiamas. Moodle has three functions of website management, curriculum management and learning management, including discussions, chat, jobs, vote, test, and interactive evaluat io n modules. Moodle is a network teaching platform that is most widely used and most popular in the world. This study based on summarizing the characters of MOOC and Moodle, analysis the MOOC cases in Moodle environment, and try to build MOOC course in Moodle environment, confirms the conclusion that Moodle can develop MOOC. So the study can provide some practical guidance for the people who is looking for a MOOC platform.The contents of this paper are the following six:1. The learning wave of MOOC and the practical demand of Moodle as the research background, and then determines the research questions, research significa nce and the frame structure of paper, and determines the research methods of literat ure research and case analysis.2. Summary and combed the MOOC and Moodle both at home and abroad research status, as well as basic theory of Marxism Unicom, behaviorism and constructivism.3. Define the concept, introduce platform and research the characteristics of platform for both MOOC and Moodle.4. Put forward that Moodle can develop MOOC, and analysis two cases in order to verify the conclusion is correct and reasonable.5. The practice research. Guided by the constructivism, build the Moodle and make it secondary development, and develop learning resources and activities for the course, design a MOOC based on Moodle, set up "Photoshop CC Essential Training" course.6. Summarize the study. Summarize the main research results and innovations in this paper. Finally, this paper describes areas for improvement as well as prospects for future research directions.
