With the development of the society, science and technology, the 21st Century, the era of knowledge economy, is the one with creativity, which and whose practice are increasingly becoming the main characteristics of this society. The ability of creativity is also an important criterion to tell whether a man is of value. The key to creativity is the talented persons, and the key to the talented persons is education, especially the school education. As the curriculum revolution of basic education goes further and further, developing students’ creativity and sense of creating is becoming the focus of all units of teaching and researching. The subject of history, as a subject with creativity, can develop students’ mind of creativity and dig out students’ potential of creativity, thus developing the persons with ability and sense of creativity whom our society needs. Therefore, after researching the achievements about creativity from home and abroad, I begin to do research about how to develop students’ ability of creativity of history subject in school of China, based on my own practice of history teaching, to further understand the project of creativity in history teaching and learning.This article will mainly focus on the following four aspects:First of all, know something about the concepts concerning the creativity in history teaching and learning. We must distinguish creativity, ability of creating, sense of creating, mind of creating with each other. Meanwhile, we’ll research the students’ behaviors of creativity in history teaching and learning and show the show the special advantages of history in developing students’ ability of creating. Secondly, the article will mainly stress the strategy of developing the students’ creativity. Combined with the real history teaching, it will start from the three aspects:the sense of creating, the mind of creating and the skill of creating, motivating the students’ interests, improving the students’ ability to question and forming the atmosphere of creativity. To do this, the teachers must change their mind of teaching and learning, improve their questions, practice more, and create the "real" situation, abundant experiences or history materials. Thirdly, We will analyze the approaches to developing students’ creativity by making full us of the primary textbooks of history. Lastly, we will refer to some problems when developing students’ creativity and their solutions.
