With the progress of the information industry, development of sports teaching also produces different changing patterns; multimedia is referenced in physical education and showing more and more the norm. With the increasing of sports scores in the proportion of test year by year, more and more scholars pay attention to sports teaching and education examination’s results. Under exploring patterns, multimedia teaching is more and more important for middle school physical education.The purpose of this study is to investigate the Inquiry Teaching Mode for multimedia applications in the middle school physical education, and students’ ability to adapt to changes in the teaching mode, through reaction of classroom and feedback after class, ultimately expression of "teaching in different test results models on sports performance." Its study significance is to create a good classroom atmosphere for students through different teaching course, stimulate students’ interest in learning and enthusiasm, so that more students learn sports skills while enjoy the fun of sports. In improving sports performance, while students interested in physical exercise, and ultimately aim to develop life-long Physical Exercise.Study on the inquiry teaching middle school sports model already begun in China, entering the new century, in the teaching process in grassroots sports, multimedia teaching is more deeply, and plays an important role in physical education, in this context-depth multimedia teaching research on the effect of improving high school physical education, improve athletic performance has played a strong promoting role. Based on the theoretical results of previous studies, on the basis of "inquiry teaching mode under high school physical education using multimedia means" as a research object, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, The eleven middle school of 100 students randomly selected as experiment object, the chapter approach study of literature、experimental method、questionnaire、 mathematical statistics、comparative analysis, and index selection、mathematical statistics and logical analysis to the survey and experimental data, finally draw the following conclusions:The basic indicators of the experimental group and the control group tested, it did not show significant differences before the experiment, interest in physical education, extracurricular whether physical exercise and favorite sports survey, did not show significant differences, specific indicators of each test is showing a significant difference after experiment. The degree of freedom、the sum of squares、 mean square、F, P and T values provide auxiliary proof; the experimental group and control group in motor skills assessment, volleyball、basketball and 50 meter test results appear significantly difference; Through surveying the relationship between teacher and student show that students prefer to inquiry teaching mode of PE teaching multimedia technology; multimedia teaching carrying out at the middle school plays a promoting role for the guidance of students and vision of the development of sports, and promote the development of students’innovative ability.
