With the convenience brought by the rapid development of information,the teaching reform also sets off a heat wave.The emergence of internet,multimedia technology,virtual reality and artificial intelligence makes education develop towards informationization.And mobile learning has become a way for students to learn.Traditional multimedia technology is being applied to the classroom,and its application is becoming normal.However,the application of multimedia technology in physical education is a drop in the ocean,and its application in calisthenics teaching is even more shallow.The traditional teaching mode has been difficult to complete the teaching task on account of the poorly equipped teaching facilities in vocational schools,weak teacher resources and poor foundation of students.And physical education is taught only through demonstration.Thus students are not interested in class,which can not well reflect students' subjectivity.To improve the quality of teaching,increase students' interest in learning and cultivate the idea of lifelong exercise,a teaching experiment was conducted in Shandong Labor Vocational and Technical College.In the experiment,two classes were randomly selected with 40 students in each class.These students had calisthenics courses for 2 hours per week and for a total of 18 weeks.This experiment studied the application of multimedia technology in calisthenics teaching in vocational colleges and explored whether students' technical skills and knowledge,learning interest and efficiency,cooperation and innovation ability can be improved.This paper adopted the research methods of literature,questionnaire survey,experiment and mathematical statistics,Through analyzing the results we could draw the following conclusions:1.The application of multimedia technology in calisthenics teaching is beneficial to students' learning of basic skills and mastering of knowledge.2.The application of multimedia technology to calisthenics teaching is conducive toimproving students' interest in learning calisthenics,getting an in-depth understanding of calisthenics,and changing students' attitude towards learning.3.The application of multimedia technology to calisthenics teaching has little effect on students' confidence.4.Being applied to calisthenics teaching,multimedia technology could makes group projects teaching more easily,improve students' sense of space and strengthen their ability of unity and cooperation.Students could enjoy more excellent videos to broaden their vision and improve their innovation ability.
