High school education as a basic education period which undertakes the compulsory education and the higher education should further improve national quality and for the general public and also should lay the foundation for the students’ life-long development. But nowadays the objective of most high school education focuses on the college entrance examinations because of the evaluation method, examination system and the organization of the curriculum. All these make high school education a preparation period for higher education. The stereotype curriculum organization and the standard training mode strong affects the students’ personality development and slows the overall development of the students. Personalized education is the opposite of the stereotype education which emphasizes the respect of people’s personality and the discovery of the potential of people’s personality development. It also advocates cultivating the all-around harmonious development of the good quality of the people. As the continuous development and depending of the quality education, the necessity of the personalized education of high school is increasing. The writer of the thesis holds the idea that high school education is a fundamental education period for the life-long development of the people rather than the pre-school of higher education. The thesis analyzes the purpose of education, laying the foundation for the life-long development of students, reformation of the content of teaching and the method of education, laying the foundation for personalized education, changing the structure of the course, strengthening the research on personalized course, increasing the number of elective courses, shifting the pattern and standard of evaluation, the evaluating and assessing the students in various ways and proposes some suggestions for the reform of education nowadays.
