With the application of cloud computing in the field of education becoming more widely, education begin to enter into the era of cloud services. In addition, with the rapid development of mobile internet, some new individual learning model based on services begin to appear, such as ubiquitous learning. All these models have a mutual base that is powerful resource platform. Traditional resource platform were built by the demand side on their own, which led to repeated construction, high costs, and not conducive to the sharing and construction of resource. This paper introduced cloud storage technology into resource management platform to build a resource platform with high utilization of platform and resource, low costs, and supporting individualized instruction.The resource platform of individualized instruction was proposed by using service-oriented design idea on the basis of analysis the theoretical and technological foundation, construction goal and business demand of it. The architecture could be divided into three layers, application layer, service layer, data layer. The architecture could avoid the repeat construction of resource platform and reduce costs, and could use for individualized instruction because of supporting custom service. Then introduced the functional module and certain part of database design of the resource platform.There were two key problems wanted to be solved in the resource platform of individualized instruction, log collection and personalized resource recommendation. To solve the problems, the paper used Flume NG (Next Generation), which is an open source, distributed system for efficiently collecting large amounts of log data, to collect logs and used MongoDB to store them; and adopt an existing personalized resource recommendation model, which is suitable for the cloud resource platform, and can recommend resources not only related to users’existing interests but also related to their new interests.By using mature web service and other related technology, this paper realized the main function module of the resource platform, including user management, resources management, courses management and user space, and show the working sketches of them. The platform had been put into use in Central China Normal University.
