Pre-school education is the foundation of educational career and the basic phrase of one’s life. With the upsurge in the system reform of early childhood education, children’s happiness arouses more and more attention from the society. As the central figures of the organizational management in kindergartens, the principals shoulder the primary responsibility to promote the pre-school teachers’ subjective well-being. The principals’ organizational management is of great significance for promoting the teachers’ subjective well-being.The research objects in the study are 10 pre-school teachers and 10 principals in 10 provincial and municipal kindergartens in Shenyang. The teachers’ subjective well-being and the organizational management in kindergartens are studied through in-depth interviews. The relationship between the two factors are investigated and discussed. From the aspect of the principals’ organizational management, the author of the thesis provides the feasible suggestions for improving the pre-school teachers’ well-being.The study draws the following conclusions: 1. Pre-school teachers’ life satisfaction is not optimistic, and their levels of subjective well-being are relatively low. 2. There are two kinds of factors which influence the teachers’ subjective well-being, and they are subjective factors and objective factors. 3. The factors of organizational management are important objective factors which influence the teachers’ subjective well-being. 4. Principals’ great concern and attention to the teachers’ subjective well-being, career positing and occupational development, as well as salary and workload are the three main factors in principals’ organizational management which influence teachers’ subjective well-being. 5. Establishing reasonable salary system, arranging suitable jobs and positions, assigning appropriate workload, implementing democratic management, creating a relaxing and good learning atmosphere, and creating harmonious kindergarten atmosphere are the main measures to promote the pre-school teachers’ subjective well-being.
