| In this article, I try to discuss the strategies of improving weak schools based on Shanghai G School in the background of the policy of balanced and fair education promoted in 18 th CPC National Congress. The issue of weak schools, as the result of imbalanced development of basic education, has been a hot topic of educational theory and practice since 1980 s. Speeding up the construction of weak schools is a big move for building a harmonious educational system. It realizes education equality, enables the public to access high-quality educational resources and is an expression of people-oriented policy. It will solve bottlenecks of basic education in a certain extent.Among all the issues in educational theory and practice, elements of construction of teaching personnel have come into sharper focus in recent days. The major structure of this article is as follows:The first chapter, which is also the preface, presents the background, key concepts, research status at home and abroad, and then frame the program.In the second chapter, I analyse the causes of weak schools from the aspects of environments and investment. I have also presented the solution that the construction of teaching personnel in these schools can produce a cohesive force and bring solidarity effect by improving attitude and ability. I also emphasize the leadership of teachers.In the third chapter, based on G school, I systematically analyse the construction of teaching personnel in a descriptive and constructive way.In the fourth chapter, based on the rational thoughts of educational practice in G school, I propose the strategies of construction of teaching personnel which includes: 1. Broaden Horizon: learning advanced theory of construction of teaching personnel; 2. Continuous Learning: optimizing the learning of teaching personnel; 3. Teachers as Moral Examples: improving the morality of teachers; 4. Exerting teaching personnel: countering career fatigue; 5. Respect the difference of development among teaching personnel. |
