At present,basic education in China has achieved basic balance,while people's demand for education has shifted from the pursuit of basic equity to the pursuit of quality and balance.The existence of weak schools in basic education has limited the quality and balanced development of education in China,so the improvement and development of weak schools has become an important issue to realize the quality and balance of basic education in China.With its unique advantages,the grouping of prestigious schools has promoted and improved the quality and efficiency of weak schools and expanded the coverage of quality education,and has been experimented and promoted nationwide,becoming an effective initiative to promote the development of weak schools and the quality and balanced development of regional basic education.This paper takes Shandong Province F Education Group as the research object and uses empirical research as the main research method,employing questionnaires and interviews as the research tools to investigate in depth the effectiveness of weak schools' improvement under group schooling at three levels: students,teachers and schools.In addition,we also analyze the problems and shortcomings of the weak schools in the process of group schooling and analyze their causes.Finally,in response to the above problems,this paper proposes further improvement strategies at three levels:government,education groups,and weak schools.This study consists of the following parts.The first part is the introduction.It explains the origin of the selected topic,the research idea and method,the purpose and significance of the study,defines the core concepts of the study,and analyzes the current situation and trends of domestic and international research related to the selected topic.The second part is the theoretical foundation.The relevant theories that support this study are mainly described,including the theory of educational equity,the theory of school effectiveness and the theory of value-added evaluation.The third part is the investigation of the effectiveness of weak schools' improvement under group schooling.It introduces the survey subjects,research design,survey implementation,and survey results.The fourth part is the improvement effectiveness of weak schools under group schooling.Based on the results of the questionnaires and interviews,the effectiveness of improvement in weak schools under grouping is analyzed and explained at three levels:students,teachers,and schools.The fifth part is the analysis of the problems and causes of the development of weak schools under group schooling.While recognizing the effectiveness,the problems and shortcomings are identified and their causes are analyzed.The sixth part is the strategy for further improvement of weak schools' development under group schooling.Based on the analysis of the problems and causes,the strategies and suggestions for further improvement are discussed from the perspectives of the government,education groups and weak schools.The seventh part is the conclusion.It summarizes the research results,analyzes the research shortcomings,and makes an outlook for the next research.
