Research On Educational Punishment

The social misunderstanding and prejudice against education punishment put the development of education punishment into a tough place. This research profoundly analyzes the education punishment in primary education and reveals its function and influences on the psychology and behavior of the students by way of questionnaire and interview. Meanwhile it puts forward the idea that the proper use of punishment in primary teaching practice will solve some practical problems the teachers encountered and make it more reasonable. In the introduction part, this article expounds the researching background, the purpose and significance of this study. The current research situation at home and abroad is also briefly described, and the concepts of the punishment, education punishment and reasonable education punishment are precisely defined in this research. In the body part of this essay, it shows the investigation into the present situation of the education punishment in the primary schools in Ganjingzi District in Dalian city and analyzes the reasons of education punishment from rational an irrational aspects. In the end, this research probes into the reasons from inside and outside of the school, and tries to find out the solutions to the proper implementation strategy of education punishment.
