Underachievers’ideological and moral education in primary schools is related to the success or failure of the primary ideological and moral education, and to the future of the Chinese nation. It is the most important point of primary ideological and moral education. The wrong idea of ignoring the ideological and moral education must be abandoned. We should put more emphasis on the primary underachievers’ ideological and moral education instead of ignoring it. Based on understanding the current primary ideological and moral situation, this thesis adopts the method of case study, makes corresponding measures from five aspects-social factor, school factor, class factor, family factor and underachievers themselves factor, after two-stage intervention and intervening measures, tries to actively exert the joint function of society, teachers, family members, class and underachievers in ideological and moral education, and spares no effort to build society-teachers-family-class underachiever multidimensional ideological and moral education pattern, in order to achieve the best effect of ideological and moral education.This thesis contains four parts:The first part is about introduction. This part introduces the research purpose, significance, research status, research methods, innovation, the main idea and the definition of some key concepts.The second part is about the current primary ideological and moral education. This part introduces the main content of the ideological and moral education of pupils, its achievements and existing problems.The third part is about the first intervention stage of the case study. This part introduces the five factors influencing primary underachievers’ ideological and moral education, research object, the ideological and moral status before the first intervention, intervening measures, the ideological and moral status after the first intervention, and evaluation and reflection for the first intervention stage.The fourth part is about the second intervention stage of the case study. This part introduces improved intervening measures, the ideological and moral status after the second intervention, evaluation for the second intervention stage, and enlightenment of this case study.
