With the development and changes of China's educational undertakings,in the comprehensive development of quality education,the education of the underachievers has exerted tremendous pressure on teachers and parents.The underachievers are the groups with a large proportion of students who need special help.Every student has different learning reasons because of his or her own learning foundation,learning environment,learning motivation,and learning methods.Therefore,there are inevitably some students with low ability and weak foundation in the class.The new curriculum reform requires teachers to face all students and promote the all-round development of students.Teachers should treat each student equally,and pay more attention to the development of mathematics ability of the underachievers.Mathematical ability is not only the basis of learning science,but also the ability to solve everyday life problems.Therefore,it is especially important to improve the mathematics underachievers with primary school mathematics learning disabilities.This study is divided into five parts,and its main contents are introduced as follows:The first part is an introduction,which introduces the problem's proposal and research purpose,significance,method,and research status and innovation at home and abroad.Judging from the domestic andinternational literature,the existing research mainly analyzes the characteristics of mathematics underachievers,and proposes transformation methods and strategies based on their characteristics.But the transformation of elementary mathematics underachievers Research seems inadequate,and from the perspective of extra-curricular tutoring,almost no one has discussed this.This article uses a case study method to walk into the lives of two third-year mathematics undergraduates,analyze the reasons for their poor mathematics performance,and carry out targeted transformation teaching to combine the content of class and after-class to form a joint force.Promote the transformation of undergraduates in mathematics.The second part is the definition of the underachievers and the definition of the underachievers in mathematics.In the process of learning mathematics,students are affected by factors such as subject basis,learning environment,family environment,learning motivation,and learning style.There are certain differences in the degree of mastery of mathematical knowledge and the level of intellectual development of the students themselves.This led to the emergence of underachievers in mathematics.Based on the teaching experience in the school,the author observes the undergraduates of mathematics and summarizes the characteristics of the undergraduates of mathematics.The third part is the investigation and analysis of the less advanced students in mathematics.Designing questionnaires based on previoussurveys and teachers 'guidance,conducted a questionnaire survey on the students,analyzed the questionnaires of the two underachievers in mathematics,and then conducted interview surveys with their parents,teachers,and school leaders,respectively.In order to better understand the situation of the two underachievers in mathematics.The fourth part presents the situation analysis and transformation process of the underachievers.Mainly through the unblocking of parents,enlightening students,training students in mathematical reading and memory,cultivating students to develop good learning habits and learning methods,training in applied problems,letting study,and continuing to observe the six processes to transform the two underachievers,and compare the changes of the two underachievers.The fifth part gives suggestions for transformation from the four aspects of schools,parents,teachers,students themselves,and the problems found in chapters three and four.It is hoped that this research can help the transformation of underachievers in elementary mathematics teachers.
