The college students is an important population group, their fertility value will not only directly affect their reproductive behavior, but also impact on the development of population in China. For the current demographic situation,the government approved the "selective two-child policy" in 2013, which will affect the fertility concept of college students, then affect fertility behavior in future, especially the non-only child college students. Therefore the writer survey and interview at three typical universities in Beijing, the main contents include the purpose of fertility, the desire number of children, sex preference, the desire of childbearing age and spacing births, the difference of fertility concept before and after the new Fertility Policy, the difference of fertility concept between the only child and the non-only child,and factors affecting the fertility concept of non-only child college students.The results of the research on non-only child college students are: on the purpose of fertility, non-only child students pay more attention to children’s spiritual value; In the aspect of the quantity, the majority of non-only child students consider their ideal number of births to be two children;on sex preference, The boy preference is weakening; on the intention to birth time, the vast majority of non-only child college students see 24-29 as the intention age for women to have first child, and the ideal birth interval is 1-3 years.In the aspects of the difference of college students’ fertility concept, the desire number of children have differences before and after the new Fertility Policy. After the new policy, the desire number of children increased obviously; the only child and the non-only child college students have differences in the purpose of fertility and the desire number of children. In reproductive purposes, the top two are spiritual comfort, Ranked third on fertility concept, non-only child college students is more attention to "raise children to old age and procreation," while one child is more like children. The number of children in terms of willingness to give birth, more non-only child college students choose a non-child birth a child. In addition, gender, age, urban and rural, education level and economic factors(including macro factors and micro factors), policy factors, cultural and educational factors have varying degrees of impact on fertility concept.
