Concerning about teachers’ job satisfaction in the current social environment, understanding their living conditions and mental state, and thereby developing relevant initiatives for improving their enthusiasm is the key factor to ensure the teaching quality, build up qualified personnel and implement successfully the strategy of rejuvenating our country through science and education. Accordingly, this paper proposed the survey on the job satisfaction of senior high school teachers from Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province, where the working place of the author locates. Appling the common research method on the job satisfaction, a restrained job satisfaction questionnaire was made. An anonymous survey was conducted on more than 300 teachers from the only two senior high schools. The returned results were statistically summarized. The overall situation of teachers’ job satisfaction was obtained; the effects of teachers’ personal background factors on the various dimensions constituting the job satisfaction were analyzed; and the reasons were explored. Finally, some specific suggestions were put forward for improving and enhancing the job satisfaction of senior high school teachers in Fujin City.
