With the collision and blending of eastern and western culture, a new era of economic globalization and the internationalization of education has already arrived. The increasingly fierce competition has brought the unprecedented pressure for us, teacher as a model of teaching also is faced with the forefront of pressure. Pressure is derived from change, the change show on the education is the "education reform". In our country, as the new curriculum reform went on gradually, more and more students began to adapt to the needs of social development, however, there are more and more teachers said that in this process, they produce job burnout in different levels, the construction of teachers’ team gradually become an important factor to restricting the development of education. This result not only brought trouble to individual teachers, but also for students. It has been extremely negative influence on the whole education career. Nowadays, our country is in the critical period to the educational reform development, therefore, in intercultural horizon, the study under the different cultural horizon to the teacher burnout is very meaningful.This study is based on the perspective of cross-cultural comparison, through statistic to describing the general characteristics to analysis the teacher burnout between China and America; Through the exploratory factor analysis to divide burnout dimensions of these two country; Through the single factor analysis of variance to explore the influence between the demographic variables and the dimensions of burnout. The results proved that compared with the American teachers, our score is higher than the United States in the dimension of emotional exhaustion, in personalized dimensions our score is lower than the US, in the lower satisfaction dimensions our score is in line with the United States. The influence of demographic variables on burnout we selected the sex, age and marital status, this three items in the male and female teachers in our country in personalized show significantly differences in gender, and American teachers show the gender differences in emotional exhaustion and low sense of achievement; At the same time, our teachers in marriage show the significant differences in personalized, the American teachers in marriage show the significant differences in emotional exhaustion and low sense of achievement. This study argues that the differences between the teacher burnout in China and the United States closely associated with the national character, which is formed by the historical and cultural mode of thinking,value orientation, and the view of teacher. Therefore, in the corresponding solution strategy,we should be fully considered with the teacher characteristics under the cultural background in China, and to make it to the foundation to construct the localization process of teacher professional development to reduce tiredness.This thesis includes six chapters. The introduction part elaborated the selected topic reason and purpose of this study, the research significance and value and innovation points.Chapter one literature review includes the core concept definition, burnout of measurement tools and the research content. Chapter two is research design, it puts forward the research questions and divides the research phases. Chapter three is the analysis of the investigation of teacher burnout, it described the present situation of the burnout, dividing the dimension of burnout and exploring the demography variables and the relationship between the teacher burnout in our country. Chapter four compared the teacher burnout in our country with US, it mainly compared the burnout dimensions between the two countries and the relationship between demographic factors and burnout dimensions. Chapter five is countermeasures and Suggestions, it puts forward the localization of coping styles for the characteristics of teacher burnout in our country.
