Learning case design arose in the late20th century. It has already formed arelatively complete form up to now and has received good results after used amongthe subjects of the various regions. With its practicality, efficiency,real ease of useand other characteristics, Learning case design draws much attention in teaching. Itmade a real difference in guiding students to learn, reducing the burden on studentsand improving teaching efficiency.In this paper, literature analysis, interview investigation method, the educationobservation and other methods were put into use to study the design of the learningcase. The preliminary exploration has carried on. The theoretical basis of science indesign were analyzed and summarized in this paper, putting forward a general thoughtand mode in learning case design and showing a typical case designed by author.Paper is divided into four parts:The first part is introduction, mainly introducing the research background, thedefinition of learning case, the origin of teaching thought and the research status ofbiology case design in high school. In the mean time,it determines the purpose ofpaper research and methods.The second part is the theoretical basis of learning case design, mainly includingthe cognitive learning theory, constructive learning theory,theory of multipleintelligence and the request of the new curriculum.The third part is a general thought of learning case design and example, from thenew lecture and revision lesson to illustrate the structure and kernel and notice ofeach part, attached a typical case designed by author in the end of the paper.The fourth part is the conclusion, reflection and prospect, summarizing severalprinciples to be followed in learning case design. According to students interview,there are several problems that should be paid attention to in learning case design anduse. A developing trend for learning case is predicted.
