Research-based learning emphasizes students' independent learning,enables stud ents to get hands-on experience of participating in research,and develops innovative c onsciousness,practical ability and core quality.Primary and secondary schools all ove r the country are actively introducing the learning mode of inquiry learning,but how t o effectively design and implement the inquiry learning activities is a difficult proble m faced by many teachers.This study selected a middle school in Huanggang City,focused on the design an d implementation of research learning activities,and explored and practiced the effect ive development of research learning,providing a case reference for front-line teacher s.First of all,by reading the literature,the connotation and development status of rese arch learning are sorted out,and the development difficulties of research learning are summarized.Secondly,through questionnaires,interviews and other forms of investig ation to understand the implementation of the middle school research learning activiti es,teachers and students on the feedback of research learning activities,the results of the survey;Finally,based on the survey results,a research learning activity topic is de signed,and the practice and guidance process of the activity are summarized to form a research learning guidance case,which provides reference for the follow-up research ers.The main conclusions are as follows:First,students are more inclined to choose easy and interesting research learning subjects,and they hope to complete the research independently under the guidance of teachers due to the enhancement of their sense of independence.However,students la ck of understanding of the connotation,process and research methods of research-bas ed learning,and cannot correctly understand the significance of social responsibility.Second,in order to effectively carry out research learning,instructors should carr y out training and education before the activity starts,choose research learning subject s with low difficulty,give targeted guidance at appropriate time,run through the begin ning,the process and the end of the whole process of the activity,and study evaluatio n should focus on the process rather than the result.Third,teachers should follow the following guiding principles in the process of a ctivities:(1)moderate guiding principles,respect students' wishes,grasp the guiding s cale;(2)the principle of active intervention,students lack relevant experience,need ti mely assistance from teachers;(3)the overall promotion principle,exercise the team members of the sense of cooperation and ability.Fourth,through the "consumer understanding and acceptance of gm products" th e practice of research learning subject,effectively promote the development of student s' core accomplishment,each group by investigating the present situation of the princi ple of transgenic technology,and the public acceptance,questionnaire design and data compilation work training the scientific thinking such as a summary,The personal ex perience of the research process enables students to preliminarily grasp the basic ideas and methods of scientific inquiry,pay more attention to social affairs and enhance the ir sense of responsibility,and conduct rational discussions with people around them b ased on the knowledge of transgenic technology obtained from the survey.To sum up,research-based learning is an important part of basic education refor m,and this study is expected to provide useful references for senior biology teachers t o carry out research-based learning activities in biology.
