As mainstream of the pedagogy of history, the historical data-basedteaching is a up-to–date one and embodies the features of historycurriculum soundly as well as conducts students to foster the uniquethinking mode of their own to very large extent, and thus heightening theeffectiveness of history teaching. So far, extensive and profound studieshave been made in history-based teaching theory and attention to and muchattention has been paid to the practice and application of it, making itmuch more popular. Therefore, with regard to the application on class,this paper analyses the features of historical data-oriented teachingthrough an analysis on it with a questionnaire. Also, it helps to givefull play to the strength while shelving the weakness so as to improvethis teaching method and summarise its applicability in class.The main contents are as follows:Introduction: The background, significance, theoretical basis andthe domestic as well as overseas studies on this pedagogy with respectto theory and application are listed.In the first chapter the identifications of history-oriented teachingand its application and significance are drawn and analysed.In the second chapter a plan is made to analyse the case ofhistory-based teaching in terms of its form scientifically andobjectively.The third chapter focuses on the chose, presentation and practice ofproper case of historical-data. In addition, effect of such teachingmethod is measured by modifying the case and practice through comparisonand by adopting a questionnaire. The forth chapter there is retrospect on the exercise of data-basedteaching in history class, aiming to further improve the history lessonand analyse and induct such pedagogy with regard to objectiveness, normsand methods of it.
