In the trend of "Chinese fever", Chinese language teaching in Thailand is worth our attention. The group of Chinese language learners is growing, and Chinese teaching in Thai is beginning from kindergarten, the group of kids has occupies more and more proportion in the whole Chinese teaching. And it is the unique cognitive development of the kids that determines the Thailand kids’Chinese teaching is different from general international Chinese teaching. And it has putting forward to a meaningful new subject to all Chinese teachers--how should we effectively teach Chinese to kids in Thailand?How do we start Thailand kid’s Chinese teaching, how should we use the teaching time effectively and teach them some useful things, and how should we stimulate their learning motivation... these problems can’t live without the basis of Chinese teaching--vocabulary teaching. Vocabulary is the building material of language, without vocabulary and without effectively vocabulary teaching, there would be no successful kid’s Chinese teaching. Therefore, in a sense, vocabulary teaching is the vital thing of the kid’s Chinese teaching in Thailand.This essay is in the object of the students from K1to K3in Yamsa-ard Rangsit School of Thailand, and in the content of intuitive, interesting words, analysis the essay’s purpose and meaning, comprehensive analysis the existing research achievements, and point out the research contents and methods. Then, the author tries to discuss on the basis of current kids’English and Chinese teaching in the school which the author teaching, in combination with kid’s cognitive development level and the importance of the words, and point out that the content should be conform of the kids’ cognitive development level and should be typical. Main part of this article is based on several cases of success and failure, through the analysis and summary of these cases, the author has its own ideas. The last part is conclusion, the author makes a summarize of the whole text, and point out the shortages of this essay. Finally the author discussed the vocabulary teaching cases for kids in Thailand through discovering, analyzing and resolving problems, and arrive the relevant teaching skills.This essay is under the guidance of research methods of observation, interview, conclusion, analysis and so on, combined with the existing research results, and on the basis of the kid’s Chinese teaching in Thai, and then analysis the successful and unsuccessful cases, gain some teaching skills, in order to provide some ideas to all the kid’s Chinese teachers of Thailand.
