Along with reform and development of elementary education in our country, more and more people are aware of the importance of cultivating students’ creativity through education. At the same time, music works as an important part in the basic education for its importance of cultivating students’ creativity. As for the freedom and uncertainty of it, music can bring rich imagination and broad space to its audiences. It is known to all, grade one and grade two in primary school stand in the beginning stage of basic education. Thus, a good music creative teaching shows its key function to cultivate junior students’ divergent thinking. "The full-time compulsory education music course standard" points out that the creation is the fundamental driving force of the development of the art and the whole society and history, and it demonstrates art education function and value. Extended with existing teaching material and teaching materials of knowledge lets junior students get the ability to appreciate, perform and create, which are total these three aspects in creative teaching.This paper is to explore the teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching modes forming in music creation class by analyzing the "creative" part of first to the second grade primary school music teaching material printed in People’s Education Press. It is to study the feasibility of cultivating students’ music creativity, the way to utility of creativity in the classroom teaching through practical teaching method.This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter summarizes research on music creation. It mainly describes the present situation of music creative music at home and abroad on the status of creativity. The second chapter is the analysis based on the People’s Music Publishing version for first and second grade primary school music teaching material, and it goes through the "full-time compulsory education music course standard" in putting forward the cultivation of followingthree aspects:music creativity, teaching experience and appreciation, and performance.The third chapter is based on the second chapter on how to use the existing music teaching material to fully develop the students’ music creativity for the purpose of teaching practice and research, and describes the teaching goal, process, and specific measures to do a detailed illustration. The fourth chapter is on the training of primary school lower grade music students creativity of this article and the research and puts forward " developing creative music teaching design according to age characteristics" and "teaching should pay attention to children’s individual differences". What’s more, this article is in allusion to the problems of teaching design, the theoretical analysis of thinking about the insufficient.
