Content:With the rapid development of economy in our country, it appears the rural-urban fringe which is the edge of the city beacuse of the massive influx of rural population to urban population. The environment in rural-urban continuum is complex, so primary school students living in rural-urban continuum will be greatly affected by it. The rural-urban continuum education problems are much more complex than pure city or pure agriculture area.Good habits is an important guarantee for the success of students learning. Many education problems are related to students’ bad behavior habits. However, low grade pupil period is critical for the formation of good behavior habits. If students develop good habits in primary grades 1-2, they will be easy and successful in future study. Paying attention to the low grade pupils’ good behavior habits in the rural-urban continuum has some theoretical significance and practical value.In this paper, low grade pupils in the rural-urban continuum of New District of Dalian Jinzhou are the research object. This paper mainly adopted the questionnaire method,observation method and interview method to summary the behavior habits of students.It uses the questionnaire to survey the basic situation of the students’ families, living habits, learning habits, civilization etiquette habits, labor hygiene habits and interpersonal relation habits as well. Then, I include their behavior characteristics.Meanwhile, combining the education teaching experience and the content of the interview from different roles, I analysis of the main influence factors of low grade primary students in rural-urban continuum, such as individual factors, family factors,school factors and community factors.In views of the causes, I put forward some habit strategies. Such as in the family education strategy, it requires that parents change their education views to unite the school’s requirements and to be a good habit model. In the school education strategy, it improves teachers’ team construction and holds various activities about formative education. In the community education strategy, it promotes the realization of education equality and improves the operating condition and social humanistic environment of rural-urban continuum. At last, family, school and community should cooperate and coordinate to train the students in their critical period. Effective application of these strategies can promote lower grade primary students from urban and rural areas to develop good behavior habits.
