Rural-urban continuum, it also be called as urban fringe area. The major students of governmental junior middle school in rural-urban continuum are the children of the city civilians, the weakness groups, the village inhabitants and migrant workers. It is a complexity status in the school due to the different resource. How to apply the efficiency teaching and implement the reasonable instructional strategy in the classes and harmoniously improve the students by combine “teaching” & “learning” ? This is an important topic for the teachers in rural-urban area.The task of this thesis basis on the implement scaffolding instruction in the physical class of junior middle school in rural-urban continuum to seek a teaching theory which will conform to the quality-oriented education and new curriculum program to fit the requirement of effective physical class teaching.The thesis was based on the relevant theory of scaffolding instruction, and reported the survey which applied on the 8 grade students’ situation related to the family situation and teaching and the learning status of students, then the scaffolding instruction teaching model was issued for the physical class in the rural-urban continuum which based on the teaching material from Suke version grade 8. The model including the basic contents and implement strategy for the scaffolding instruction. The implemented the scaffolding instruction had change the learning status of students, improved the efficiency of teaching in class and the academic record of students. Not only for the class but also applicable for improvement of the students’ interesting, learning habit and attitude, cooperation as the nonintellectual factors.
