"Non-continuous text" is a kind of practical and vivid text,it is closely related to People's Daily life and students' future life and work.For Mentally Retarded Student,learning to read the non-continuous texts in daily life can improve their life adaptability and promote their social development.In order to make the non-continuous text with strong practicability really enter the Chinese class of the school for the mentally handicapped,to enable senior students with mental disabilities to learn to read life's common non-continuous text,this study based on the ordinary schools on the research of the discontinuity of text reading teaching,mainly from the following parts to expand the discussion:Firstly,literature research on non-continuous text reading teaching and reading teaching for mentally retarded student is summarized and the relevant concepts of the study are defined.Secondly,interviews are mainly used to investigate the parents and Chinese teachers of the students with mild and moderate mental retardation in the senior years of five schools for the mentally handicapped in four districts of Nanjing.In order to understand the current situation of Chinese non-continuous text reading teaching in senior years of the schools for the mentally handicapped,and to sort out and analyze the current situation.Then,it analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of Chinese non-continuous text reading in senior years in schools for the mentally handicapped,finds out the influencing factors,and conducts research and analysis from the aspects of students' intelligence,schools,teachers,families and communities.Finally,aiming at the problems existing in the teaching of Chinese non-continuous text reading in senior years in schools for the mentally handicapped and their influencing factors,this study based on the social development of the students with mild and moderate mental retardation in the senior years,put forward the teaching countermeasures of non-continuous text reading with the characteristics of the schools for the mentally handicapped.This paper mainly analyzes the arrangement of teaching hours,the orientation of teaching objectives,the development of teaching contents,the use of teaching methods and the creation of reading environment,and through the real case are discussed,in order to have reference value and inspiration for the reading teaching of non-continuous texts in senior years of the school for the mentally handicapped.
