The reform of basic education advocates students to study by "independent, cooperation, explore learning process " ways, the core idea of the reform is to carry out exploratory teaching method in classroom teaching, in order to meet the needs of social progress and development. Chemical exploratory experiments teaching is to participate in the exploratory teaching activities, the Chemical exploratory experiments teaching pays attention to the cultivation of students’ scientific research and innovation ability, observation and thinking ability, language expression ability, analysis and problem solving ability in the process of implementation, it plays an irreplaceable role in the comprehensive development of students. In this paper it research on teaching strategies of exploratory experiments about "the properties of element compound" in senior high school chemistry. There are six chapters in the thesis:The first chapter based on the actual teaching needs and the new curriculum reform, the research situation about experimental teaching at home and abroad, it mainly expounds the contents and significance of the research, and demonstrates the necessity to strengthen the exploratory experiment teaching. The second chapter describes the theoretical basis of the research, which provides the theory basis for the study of this thesis. The third chapter discusses the related knowledge of exploratory experiment teaching, including the definition of core concepts, and the basic properties and links of exploratory experiment teaching. The fourth chapter made a presentation about the properties of element compound, the guiding ideology, basic principles and strategies of exploratory experiment teaching. The fifth chapter is empirical part, mainly describes the implementation process of the research, including the research objects and methods, and lists the two typical teaching cases of experimental investigation in teaching activities; and this chapter provides the quantitative analysis of students’ questionnaire, and present the improvement of the experimental exploratory comprehensive learning ability of the students, which has recessive properties after participate in the teaching activities. The sixth chapter is the conclusion and further thinking of the thesis.Through the experimental data analysis of the questionnaires and experience of teaching practice, it shows that, as a student, autonomous participation in exploratory experiment teaching activities can improve the interests of learning chemistry experiment and chemical knowledge, can improve the abilities of autonomous learning, innovative thinking and comprehensive experiment exploring, at the same time, it will has a good influence on students’ learning attitude, scientific view of science. It also shows that, as a teacher, by the implementation process of experimental exploratory teaching, it can better integrate into the life of students, also can promote the development of teachers’ teaching tact, at the same time, these good aspects cannot accomplish in one action, it needs long-term joint efforts of teachers and students.
