The Learning Progressions is a progressions what the students about a related concept of learning from teaching has not yet accepted to start learning finally to complete the learning stage,the students learned knowledge constantly full.Statistics show that current research involves a number of areas of Learning Progressions,overall growth trend year by year,forgien literature Learning Progressions more,and domestic research on the Learning Progressions is still relatively weak.This thesis is based on the learning progressions of the hot areas of science education,based on the Infoemation Processing Theory,Cognitive Structure Learning Theory and Constructivist Theory,study on the middle school students’material structure knowledge Learning Progressions.Resaults are as follows,1.Based on middle and high school chemistry curriculum standards and chemistry textbook,through the chemistry material structure knowledge and learning requirements and knowledge systems integration study,of the content and features of knowledge of chemical structure in-depth analysis,preliminary construction middle school students material structure knowledge of Learning Progressions,and divide it into four horizontal levels.2.Adoption literature analysis,questionnaire and the interview method,stratified sampling a high school junior,high school compulsory,elective high school students,specific acts of middle school students in four horizontal levels of performance.3.The overall level of middle school students in two levels,students formed the concept of matter is composed of particles,from the cognitive perspective,more students concerned about the lack of macroscopic phenomena microscopic explanation.4.Compulsory student overall in the level three,studens can try to speculate the macroscopic properties from microscopic properties of matter,but should be improved abstract thinking ability.5.Elective studies section at the level four,knowledge of the physical structure of students gradually,from the macro and micro,a combination of symbols and change the perspective of material characterization.6. Material structure knowledge is very abstract,when there is this part of the knowledge students learn a lot of difficulties,the main factors to explain the way teachers,textbooks and student presentation of non-intelligence factors.
