The material structure knowledge majorly research the structure of atomic, molecular and crystal and relationship with its nature in high school.As the core of chemical theory, the structure knowledge in high school chemical is conducive not only to train students in abstract thinking ability, the capacity to imagine space,but also to help students form a critical and serious study attitude. However, because the material structure knowledge is a certain abstract knowledge, also become a difficult part in high school chemistry teaching and learning. The research of influence factors of high school students to study the material structure knowledge are conducive to reveal their learning patterns, and enhance student learning efficiency, but also promote the holistic development of students , enrich the theoretical study of chemical, provide a theoretical basis for the preparation of chemical materials of the high school, also have certain theoretical and practical significance for the current implementation of the new high school chemistry courses.On the basis of analysing the chemical material structure knowledge of the high school , combination the "ordinary high school chemistry curriculum standards (experimental) " requesting the new study for the material structure knowledge , the research focus on the ability of students to imagine space, abstract thinking ability, cognitive structure and to the organizers the effects of high school students studying chemical material structure knowledge . It use questionnaires,interviews and other research methods. The results of the study showed:1. Students'space imagine ability and learning material structure knowledge is significant relevant. Without considering other factors , boy's space imagine ability is apparently better than girl.And students'space imagine ability is more strong, their studying material structure knowledge will better.
