With the implementation and the deepening of the new curriculum, theeducational philosophy and teaching methods of the high school music teachers havechanged a lot. Students are more willing to participate in classes especially in theclasses for music appreciation. However, examining the current status quo ofeducation in high schools, I find that there are many problems. Teachers’ teachingprocedures don’t agree with the teaching contents. Besides, concerning the traditionalteaching methods, strategies to the problems in class and the evaluating methods, westill have a long way to go for the reason that the above mentioned problems affect themusic appreciation in class.Through theoretical knowledge of classroom regulation and combined with thelocal classroom situations and surveys, I get to know the current situation andproblems of music appreciation classes, analyze the cause, learn form the theoreticalknowledge of educational experts and experience of the outstanding teachers andform a classroom regulation coping strategy, combined with my own teaching.The author’s coping strategies are mainly based on prevention, and the teachers’regulatory capacity is more demanding. First, reasonable teaching arrangements arenecessary, including a complete teaching design, a flexible regulation of the teachingsessions, a suitable teaching situation, and proper use of motivation and combinationof theory and practice, etc; secondly, it is better to handle the emergencies andproblems correctly and wisely; besides, the evaluating system must be usedreasonably by combining with self evaluation, others’ evaluation, process evaluationand final evaluation, thus improving the effectiveness of teaching. Finally, make surethat the teaching process can proceed successfully by developing teachers’ selfregulation.Only teachers improve their literacy, educational levels and classroom regulationability continuously, prepare for the lessons ahead of time and make self-reflectionafter class, can we deal with problems with ease and make sure of the effectiveness ofteaching and learning.
