The national prosperity is related to its education. Sports, as one of the importantsubjects in school education play an important role in strengthening the youth systemand promoting the healthy development of the next generation. Chinese educationreform and development compendium" clearly pointed out “The hope of revitalizationof the nation is the education, the hope of revitalizing education is a teacher” Theteacher is a prerequisite for education reform. Without enhancing the teachers’ quality,it is difficult to have a high quality of education. Without the teacher’s spiritualliberation, it is difficult to have students’ spiritual liberation. No active developmentof teachers, it is difficult to have active development of students. No teachereducation innovation, it is difficult to have creative spirit of students. The research ofteachers’ living condition is particularly important.Recently the study of teachers’ living condition is one of the subjects that causeattention at home and abroad. The study breaks through the limitations of the past.Investigating different regions, titles, and teaching experience of some specificphysical education teachers to compare by sampling survey. Analyzing every PEteacher’s real Living condition to Let people see PE teachers of fantasy, objective datarather than the abstract, the real state of survival, and respond to the current status ofPE teachers’ survival properly, and put forward concrete suggestions on the basis ofthe study.This research mainly uses questionnaire investigation, literature material method,interview method, secondary school’s physical education teachers, the researchcontent concerns the primary and secondary school PE teachers’ physical and mentalhealth status, work status, economic status, professional development status, and thesocial environment in five aspects, mathematical analysis and the summary havebeen used aiming to show the survival state of the physical education teachers truly,finally for teachers’ better survival, also in order to promote sports teachers’specialization.Conclusion: (1) The state of physical and mental health: Physical education teachers aresatisfied to their physical and mental health status, but overall the satisfaction of theirprofessional level is low. Male and female physical education teachers holdsignificant difference in their health.(2) Working status: The workload of physical education teachers is too heavy, theamount of school facilities equipment can’t satisfy the current school sports teachingand extracurricular activities. Class teachers and school facilities equipment isn’tequal.(3) Economic status: PE teachers themselves are not satisfied with their economicstate, but the data show that most of the teachers’ economic living conditions beyondthe well-off level. Different regions, different teaching age and title of the PE teachers’does not exist significant differences in their income.(4) Professional development: The government and the school make some movesto teacher professional development, but not specifically and insufficiently. In today’scurriculum reform, PE teachers’ professional development leaves behind relatively.(5) Social environment: Social awareness of sports has been improved butphysical education teachers’ social environment is relatively poor from theinvestigation of social policy, social status, and occupational prestige.
