A Study On The Integration Of College Career Education And College Students' Ideological And Political Education

Along with the trend of economic globalization and cultural diversification, Chinese reform has entered a tough time and the deep water zone. Faced with the complicated status quo in the society, the development of college students and the education quality of college are challenged by new issues. On one hand, under the influence of traditional education methods, in dealing with the hot issue concerned by college students, ideological and political education is not effective enough in solving students’specific problems. On the other hand, in the whole process of education, college career education is also faced with a series of problems, such as the loss of faith, the one-sidedness of values, the weakening of its role in directing social values and the utilitarianism of career education. In order to realize the sustainable development of college career education and the ideological and political education, the combination research provides new cutting point to make the two complement each other in functions and to maximize the functions.Based on the theory of the full development of human being, this research attempts to analyze the ideology and methods to achieve the effective combination of college career education and the ideological and political education and to strengthen the interaction between the two and eventually to make the two take advantages from each other. For instance, the teaching methods in career education can inspire new ways to conduct political and ideological education, improving the practicality and long-term effectiveness of college ideological and political education. At the same time, by fully playing the leading role of college political and ideological education in directing thoughts, the social value of college career education can be ensured and the process of the localization of college education will get accelerated. Beside, students’job quality and their satisfaction of the job will get improved, and the satisfaction of their employer will also be raised. In the end, college career education can consistently meet the demand for individual and social development. This thesis is finally committed to providing new possibilities and new research direction in promoting the full development of students, in order to further improve the education quality of college students. This thesis can be divided into four chapters:The first chapter states the background of the theme selection, existing research, the significance of this research and research method. Starting from the theory of the full development of human being, this chapter emphasizes the theoretical basis of the combination of college career education and the ideological and political education among college students.The second chapter explores the connection between college career education and the ideological and political education from the perspective of the target, content and methods of education, based on the further understanding of career education. This chapter also points out the significance of the combination of the two in theoretical research, disciplinary development and social need.The third chapter analyzes the status quo and existing problems of the combination of college career education and the ideological and political education among college students and, based on the inquiry result, finds out the causes that influences the combination of the two.The fourth chapter puts forwards the strategies to combine the two from four perspectives:education ideology, education stage, and education content and education method. This chapter is where the focus and difficulties of this research lies.
