The Chinese Achievement Test is a very important and necessary part of international Chinese teaching. Because of the Chinese Achievement Test, the international Chinese teacher’s teaching plan have become more rigorous and effective. Because of the Chinese Achievement Test, students have clearer learning goals, and keep some sense of intensity in their study. Through the Chinese Achievement Test, the international Chinese teacher can know their teaching achievements and shortcomings. Through the Chinese Achievement Test, students can clarify their learning situation. But above all, every international Chinese teacher should pay attention to their own Chinese Achievement Test.When teaching Chinese, the Chinese Achievement Test acts like a GPS. It can help the international Chinese teacher locate their teaching situation, and check whether their teaching goals have been reached. I think every international Chinese teacher should value the Chinese Achievement Test.Chinese teaching in Thailand has a long history. At present there are12Confucius institutes and11Confucius classrooms in Thailand. Within the ASEAN, Thailand has the most people studying Chinese. But from the present information I have collected, I have found that the Chinese learning situation of Thailand’s rural high school is not optimistic. Most of them don’t know any Chinese except "ni hao". Moreover, Thai high school students have their own learning methods. If international Chinese teachers only use traditional Chinese methods to test their students, it may prove counterproductive and dampen students’learning enthusiasm. So I think there is great space for research and design of the Chinese Achievement Test.For this article that targeted achivement tests need a combination of own experience of teaching Chinese to Thai students, and the questionnaire survey. It also need analyzes the learning characteristics of Thai high school students. Even use authoritative testing as a reference to analyze own final examination. Then tried to discuss how to use effective and interesting Chinese achievement tests to promote Chinese teaching. The most important part should be give some new, interesting, effective and feasible designs for a Chinese achievement test targeted for high school students studying beginner level Chinese. If the article can cover these aspects, it can provide a little reference to international Chinese teachers.
