Chinese homework is an effective way for autonomous learning of students after the classes. Through the homework, students can master the knowledge of Chinese, improve their language skills, develop good study habits and cultural awareness, promote the comprehensive application ability raise. At the same time, homework is a reflection of teachers’ teaching behavior "barometer", By Chinese homework, teachers can promptly grasp the situation of students learning, and adjust their teaching. However, in the field of research on international Chinese education and discussion about homework were lacking. Practical Chinese language teaching, teacher’s design was more or less under the influence of Chinese traditional education, is not suitable for non-native learners of Chinese. Therefore, how to scientifically and reasonably optimized design, to meet the learning needs, become the problem that each Chinese educators must consider.In order to find the way of homework design for Thai middle school students, this paper reviews and summarizes related study at home and abroad, described concepts of homework design, then an investigation about the current situation of homework design by some of students from three middle schools such as Thepprasit vidhaya school, Benchamaratrungsarit school and Joseph upatham school was made. The questionnaire includes the awareness of the homework value, teachers’attention to homework design, homework form, homework content, the ability for homework concerned, and homework completion. According to survey results and observation, the writer to think the error reasons of homework design, from the perspective of teacher and student. And put forward some principle of homework design. Then case analysis shows specific design ideas Chinese Comprehensive Course homework and made teaching reflection. The epilogue summarizes the results of this study, which points out the insufficient, and the direction of study in the future.This article is based in Thailand Chinese teaching practice, through questionnaires designed to understand the situation homework design of the Chinese comprehensive course in Thai middle school. And collect examples of homework design, to study the homework design of the Chinese comprehensive course. Wish this discussion is capable to make some reference to the Chinese language teachers in Thailand, and assist to raise their ability to design effectively.
