The teaching of Han characters in a lower primary school, have very important role in the Chinese teaching, it is the breakthrough point of the Chinese teaching and the basis of learn Chinese. However with the development of the society, more and more problems appeared in the process of teaching Han characters. And the theory of "difficult to learn Han characters" misleading, it caused many people to resist to learn Chinese. Now the general public always forget how to write some of the characters, and in our life, there are many people use the nonstandard words. So, how to make the junior student to grasp Han characters effectively let them to write characters correctly and use characters accurately. It becomes a severe issue for each Chinese teacher.From reform and opening up to the present, many Chinese linguists and line of Chinese teachers pay attention to Chinese teaching, especially to Han characters teaching, there are more than 20 teaching characters methods appear during this time, such as text literacy, phonetic notation literacy, character components literacy, principle literacy and so on, each method has the unique teaching characteristics. In actual process of literacy teaching, these excellent literacy teaching method have achieved remarkable results, but these parts of literacy teaching method is limited to the use of part of the school (with the exception of the text literacy), and the reasons for this situation are not only the teachers’ professional quality, but also the teaching material. All in all, these excellent literacy teaching methods has not been widely introduced and used in the real teaching process.Taking the grade one of a elementary school in Qixian city, Shanxi province as an example to experiment and analyze the literacy teaching situation. The research content can be divided into four parts roughly. The first part is about the Han character literacy baching research background, research significance and research method, this paper discusses the necessity and feasibility of the literacy teaching. The second part, introduces the lower grade literacy teaching of elementary school in our country simply, mainly from the meaning and Kquirements of literacy baching and literacy teaching methods. The third part,during the course of practice teaching of the first grade in the school and interview with the line of teachers in the first grade, it reflects the problems of literacy teaching in current situation and they will be discussed in this part. The fourth part, we will discuss the lower primary school literacy teaching strategy from two aspects, one aspect is from four kinds of literacy teaching methods,text literacy, phonetic notation literacy, character components literacy and principle literacy. In current siUiation, how to use phonetic notation literacy, character components literacy and principle literacy with text literacy, in an attempt to seek a more scientific and rational, practical and concise literacy teaching method; Another, I give some suggestions on other aspects to be improved in the Chinese teaching.Innovation points of this paper are using the action research, interview method and so on, analysis and discuss the existing problems of literacy teaching present situation in the lower primary school. And we get a method about that in the text literacy background, how to combining the literacy with the phonetic notation literacy, character components literacy and principle literacy, and I give my own views about the aspects of teaching process and the evaluation.
