With the pace of development and prosperity,China are presenting its charming style to the world so that people around the world are paying close attention to the long-standing culture of China.However,the loss of traditional culture especially in ethnic minority areas,becomes an urgent social issue to be settled down.As a music teacher,I am always aware of national culture and minority music,to teach and pass on them as my missionary work.The new curriculum reform of basic education have been carreid out into three-level managerial system:national, local and school,turning the developing the applying of school-based curriculum into a social hotspot.The high school affiliated to Minzu University of China,in which the students are from various ethnic minority areas,is the only university enrolling the student across the country.However,many students are less interested in their own culture,as well as minority music.Considering that,it is worthy to popularize the national culture and minority music among them.Therefore,the school authority makes a decision to develop school-based course Sing Three Songs, that is national anthem,school song,and folk song,hoping students spread the national culture and minority music with the love of the Party,our country and school.The object of this study is to discuss the status of school-based curriculum development and put forward some improvement suggestions of mine,including four parts:The first part is preface which includes the studying object and motivation,literature review and noun explanation.The second part is an overview of music teaching of the high school affiliated to Mizu University of China,from three aspects to introduce.school profile,developing history of music course and the status of school-based curriculum development.The third part is case study,analyzing the school-based course Sing Three Songs from following aspects:school-based teaching textbook,curriculum status and data analysis.The forth part is introspection and countermeasure,putting reasonable suggestions to existed issues.
