Individualized Education Program is the way to carry out the individual education,and is also the important guarantee to ensure the quality of education for special children. Individualized education program is an education plan based on the characteristics of every special student’s body and mind and education need which contributes to the maximum development of the individual. At present, there is no unified point of view on individualized education program content and function.This study aims to understand the status of society-adaptation schools’ individualized education program, to help society-adaptation schools clearly know its existence problems, to propose targeted improvement suggestions, and to improve the quality and effect of individualized education program of society-adaptation schools,thus makes special children get the biggest education revenues.This study sums up the main structure factors of individualized education program through a wide range of data and related content from the domestic and foreign, and uses the self-made questionnaire of the status of society-adaptation schools teachers’ individualized education program.This study analyzes mainly from five aspects:teachers’ understanding and attitude to individualized education plan; the involvement of teachers; teachers’ existing skills on individualized education program; the support of society-adaptation schools’ management to individualized education program; the difficulties and related support faced in the process of drawing up the individualized education program. Besides, collects individualized education program text of 7 society-adaptation schools in our country and discuss its content.The results of the study:1. Nowadays, the status of society-adaptation schools’ individualized education program is not optimistic, and the shortage of teacher’s existing skills on individualized education program whose outstanding characteristic is unfamiliar with the process of drawing up the IEP and lack of evaluation skills to students’ current ability.2.The support offered by society-adaptation schools’ management to teachers on individualized education program is insufficient, and they need to intensify related support provide.3. Teachers of society-adaptation schools have a certain understanding on individualized education program, but have no real participation and bad implementation.The suggestions are as follows:1.Intensify the training for teachers and improve teachers’ understanding on the concept of individualized education program.2.Reasonably arrange teachers’ workload and improve the teachers’ skills of effectively formulate individualized education program;3.Strengthen the cooperation between the interdisciplinary team;...
