| Content: An important part of the teaching of reading is one of the high school Chinese teaching, and also the focus and difficulty of teaching. Especially in the teaching of reading literary works of modern and contemporary China, more is the priority among priorities of Chinese teaching in high school. There are many problems in current Chinese teaching of reading in senior high school, especially the contemporary literature works reading teaching situation is not optimistic.The author is engaged in the high school language education in recent 20 years, deeply felt the Chinese education problems, also experienced a process of gradually deepening the reform of Chinese education, in the teaching practice of myself also constantly learn the advanced educational theories, to update the teaching concepts, and try to use the method of new teaching mode, which has accumulated some experience in teaching. On their own these teaching experience were summarized, for teachers and Chinese education researchers for reference, is a significant thing.This paper by PEP curriculum standard experimental high school textbooks as the object of study, focuses on high school reading teaching of Chinese contemporary literature, hope that through the research and practice of the effective ways to improve the teaching of reading, teaching of reading the status and improve the efficiency of reading teaching to provide effective reference.The thesis is mainly divided into four parts.
