Reading teaching has always been the key and difficult point in the Chinese teaching in primary school. The new Chinese Curriculum Standards issued in 2001 mentioned about a word “dialogue”, which provided possibility for solving the problems in reading teaching. The Dialogue Theory has solid philosophical, psychological and pedagogical foundations. Its introduction has provided a new perspective and direction for the Chinese reading teaching reform. Educational researchers and front-line teachers explored the use of dialogue in reading teaching from both theory and practice. However, the theory is still underdeveloped and it still has some deviations from the actual teaching. In order to solve these problems, this paper will endeavor to construct a comprehensive, objective and real system of reading teaching.Dialogue Theory has a deep-rooted origin in history and possesses foundations in philosophy, literature, psychology and pedagogy. The dialogue-mode reading teaching is also rich in connotation. This paper reviews thoroughly dialogue-mode reading teaching and expounds on them from the teacher-text relationship, student-text relationship, teacher-student relationship and student-student relationship, etc. Secondly, it summarizes the current situation and disadvantages of the Chinese reading teaching in primary school and analyzes the deviation of Dialogue Theory from reading teaching by combining with lessons. Then, it summarizes the class practice principle of the Dialogue Theory in the primary school reading teaching and aims at helping teachers properly implement the Dialogue Theory in reading teaching by elaborating on the actual lessons. Finally, it constructs the model to implement dialogue-mode primary school reading teaching and summarizes the operation strategies for implementing dialogue-mode Chinese reading teaching in primary school so as to help teachers integrate Dialogue Theory into classroom teaching.
