A Study On Psychological Counseling Of College Students' Ideological And Political Education

In recent years, due to the continuous development of social economy, the great pressure of college students employment, the thorough reform of college system and many other situation, college students are facing more and more thought and psychological problems. These problems challenge ideological-political education of university students. Nowadays, psychological counseling as a distinctive work in ideological-political education, it has played an very important role in ideological-political education work. Counselors of ideological-political education in university take responsibilities of ideological and ideological-political education counseling.This paper is divided into four parts:Part one: It expounds the concepts of college students’ ideological-political education and psychological consultation relevant theories, Introduces the related concepts of college students’ ideological-political education and psychological consultation, include characteristics and content.It introduces the contents and characteristics of college students’ psychological counseling ideological-political education.Part two: In this part, we summarized achievements in college students’ psychological counseling of ideological-political education in our country until now, including congregate activities, team construction, working methods. It also puts forward the problems and shortcomings in the aspects of week system indemnification, lack of hardware facilities and the monotonous working methods in college students’ psychological counseling of ideological-political education.Part three: through analyzing the characteristics and the successful experiences of the psychological counseling of ideological-political education in developed countries,then summed up relevant inspiration of ideological-political education from developed countries of psychological consultation for our country. Chinese college students’ ideological-political education psychological counseling should reference the experience of the developed countries and adhere to the "people-oriented" work ethic, and realize the ideological and political education counseling localization, and pay great importance to the consulting team assessment mechanism, and strengthen peer counseling of college students, improve the psychological consultation mechanism as well.Part four: according to the existing problems in Chinese college students’ psychological counseling in ideological-political education at present, we have put forward the corresponding solutions. Firstly, pay attention to the system indemnification, including of implementing policy and files as well as establishing mechanism of assessment and supervision. Secondly, attach importance to construction of hardware facilities, including construction of institutions, equipment of personnel and base installation. Thirdly, strengthen the construction of software conditions, such as carrying out publicity and education, improving the abilities and qualities of counselors as well as soft power of ideological-political education. Fourthly, broaden the channels of ideological-political education of psychological counseling, both affirmation classroom, psychological counseling center in traditional way, and create a new model of the network psychological consultation at the same time. Fifthly, pay attention to the combination of ideological-political education and psychological consultation, then put forward to the group psychological counseling, peer counseling and psychological crisis intervention method into ideological-political education.
