A Study On The Frontier Knowledge In Chemistry Teaching In Senior Middle School

With the rapid development of modern science, more and more achievements and productions of chemical researches were known by people and applied in human’s life. As the chemistry teaching is the main process of a student learning basic knowledge and skills, the frontier knowledge of chemistry need to be integrated into the chemistry teaching, which can stimulate student’s interests in learning, expand students’ knowledge reserves, help them understand the way of scientific thinking and advanced research methods.In this study, the necessary and the significance of learning the frontier knowledge of chemistry is explained and highlighted. Through literature review, the author redefined the frontier knowledge of chemistry based on previous research and describes the development of it.In this paper, the survey about the teaching of frontier of knowledge in high school was conducted, which found that the current situation through chemistry teaching is in an unsatisfactory situation, and the implementation process of content of the modern classroom is facing many difficulties and obstacles. On the basis of the investigation, the author made reference to PEP high school chemistry textbooks, and integrated the related frontier knowledge of chemistry from the material, experimental and theoretical aspects; presented the principles and strategies of teaching chemistry frontiers, and designed pieces for specific appropriate teaching strategies. Finally, the author tries to design two cases of complete instructional design to provide references and suggestions about the well integration of frontier knowledge of chemistry in teaching.
