Error refers to the second language learners had made mistakes and imperfections when using the target language to express, including pronunciation, grammar and pragmatics. grammar errors tend to be the most frequently occurring when the second language learners study in the acquisition process. As a result, Chinese volunteer teachers to research and analyze the grammar errors, not only can help themselves to understand the rules of the second language acquisition process, but also can improve the quality and level of teaching Chinese as a second language.Under guidance of error analysis and inter-language theory, compositions of the fourth, fifth and sixth grade students in Puy Eng Chinese School which I engage in are collected to find out their grammar error, and relevant statistics and analyses are made to search the distribution of different types. The four types of traditional grammar error are used to classify the errors collected and we analyzing the reason why they make mistakes to put forward new teaching proposals.The article is divided into 5 parts. Chapter 1 explains the origin of this topic and its current research situation, research significance as well as the introduction to the research materials. Chapter 2 introduces the traditional Chinese education background and its current situation, and this part specially takes the Chinese teaching in Puy Eng Chinese School as examples. Chapter 3 makes classification and analysis of grammar mistakes in compositions of the high-grade primary school students. Chapter 4 explores the cause of these grammar mistakes through different three perspectives:linguistics, sociology, physiology. At last the teaching proposals are stressed, especially for the guidance and mistake-revising of high-grade primary students. Chapter 5 summarizes all the chapters and points out related shortcomings in the Chinese teaching process.
