STSE education is the new paradigm of Science education. On March 31,2003, the ministry of education promulgated 《ordinary high school biology curriculum standard (experiment)》 to STSE education pay high attention, try to use STSE education to promote a new round of basic education curriculum reform.This paper adopts literature research and comparative analysis of people’s education press, Beijing normal university press of high school biology textbooks, from STSE education content, content presentation, characteristic analysis, comparison. Through the above research, we get the following conclusion:STSE education thought reflects the basic idea of curriculum, STSE education goals reflect the objective, content standards introduced STSE education content, implementation suggestion proposed STSE education way.STSE education contents are involved in the theme of the biology and technology, biological and social production, biological and social life, biology and environmental protection four themes, theme under different textbooks focus is different.STSE education content is using STSE education column, auxiliary column, text, after-school exercises, but differ on the specific type and quantity, the section of the form and the content of the same name, the same STSE education content to present in different ways.STSE education content has illustrated diverse, activities, comprehensive, pay attention to the history of science education, pay attention to the common characteristics of moral education. People’s education press version teaching materials, by contrast, rich in humanistic accomplishment, pay attention to the discipline overlapping, to exert the value of network resources, Beijing normal university version teaching material of language of press close to life, pay attention to scientific concepts, emphasize the cultivation of the student beginning ability.Teaching material of STSE education content has some disadvantages:some contents need to be updated, the inquiry-based learning activity design also needs to strengthen, illustration quality needs to be improved.And put forward relevant suggestions:textbook writers should enrich STSE education content, attaches great importance to the STSE education exercises, optimize of STSE education content presentation; Teachers should delve into the curriculum standard of STSE education requirements, strengthening the STSE use and development of education resources, select the appropriate STSE education teaching methods, adopting multiple STSE education evaluation.Due to subjective and objective conditions, some deficiencies still exist in this study, whether it’s preliminary results of this study, or show, hope to related education researchers and provide some revelation education workers more or less.
