STSE education is a new paradigm of scientific education which adapts to the rapid development of science and technology and society.STSE Education aims to highlight the interrelationship between science,technology,society and environment,so that students correctly understand the impact of the development of science and technology on society and the environment,enhance the understanding of the nature of science,and ultimately form a scientific literacy.Incorporating STSE education into the curriculum concept of middle school has become a major trend of the world curriculum reform,and the newly promulgated high school physics curriculum standard has made a clear request to STSE education.The paper adopts literature research method,content analysis method,and comparative research method to compare the physical education textbooks for senior high school in the mainland with the Hong Kong Senior Middle School physics textbook from the perspective of STSE education.On the basis of clarifying the connotation of STSE education,the thesis refines the themes of STSE education content,determines the main research tools of this study,and conducts comprehensive statistics on the content of STSE education in textbooks according to the classification index.First,the thesis analyzes and compares the STSE education concepts and content contained in the Mainland's physics curriculum standards and Hong Kong's curriculum assessment guidelines.Based on the interpretation of the relevant contents of the curriculum standards,the paper presents the presentation of STSE education content in the two editions of textbooks.The theme distribution and content features were compared and the analysis was concluded.Then,based on the requirements of the STSE education content in the newly enacted high school physics curriculum standards in 2017,the paper has attempted to compile four STSE content topic cases.Finally,the paper proposes to improve the PES high school physics textbooks and teachers to implement STSE education recommendations.The research results show that STSE education concept has been infiltrated into curriculum concepts,curriculum objectives,content standards and teaching suggestions in the curriculum standards of the Mainland and Hong Kong,and concrete STSE education content has been put forward,and the penetration of STSE education in the physics curriculum has been fully emphasized.The presentation of STSE educational content in the two editions of physics textbooks is various.From the comparison of the four presentation modes of the introduction,text,columns and exercises,it is found that:(1)person's education textbook introduction is more content,and the Hong Kong version of the textbook introduction is more functional;(2)The texts of the two editions of textbooks present the STSE education content discussed in terms of technology application,social development and hot issues,and are accompanied by vivid pictures and text descriptions;(3)The textbooks in the two editions show various types of STSE education content,but their functional properties are different;(4)There are differences in the number of STSE exercises in the two editions of textbooks and the way they are examined.On the whole,the two editions of textbooks focus on infiltrating STSE education content and cover all topics of STSE education.In the aspect of explicit STSE education content,the number of STSE columns in the PEP textbooks is relatively small,and the contents are often discussed in relation to the development of science and technology,human society,and environmental protection,and the pattern of students thinking about problems has been opened.The number of STSE textbooks in the Hong Kong version of the textbook is excellent.The contents are good at showing small things and being close to the student's life.It is easy for students to resonate.In terms of the content of recessive STSE education,the two editions of textbooks involve roughly the same amount of physical history as the nature of science,but there is no scientifically essential section of the textbook for people's education;the physics and technology are mainly based on the application of technology.Explain the relationship between science and technology,and pay attention to its application in production,life,or environmental protection,but at this level,the amount of technical design in the people'education textbooks is less,and it needs to be increased;Physics and social life aspects Both textbooks focus on physics and technology applications,economic activities,health care and other real-life links,but the content coverage is different;Both the physics and the environment,the physics and environmental aspects of the two versions of teaching have chosen hot issues Students think and discuss.The difference is that the specific content or focus points introduced under each topic are slightly different.The importance of highlighting environmental education can increase.Then the thesis tried to write four STSE education cases from the four themes of physics and science essence,physics and technology,physics and social life,physics and the environment: the understanding of light nature and the nature of science,the working principle of the induction cooker and its Structure,the phenomenon of magical infiltration on the plant-lotus effect,the use of nuclear energy and nuclear safety.Based on the results of the research,the paper further proposed the reference suggestions for improving the physical education textbook for senior high school and the teachers' recommendations for STSE education..
