| The STSE education concept has entered the middle school physics teaching,which has further deepened the reform of the concept of physics education in middle schools in China.STSE consists of science,technology,society,and environment.It is a new type of education that emphasizes student-centered learning,allowing students to combine natural life knowledge with their own life experiences and social realities to build an understanding of the relationship between science,technology,society and the environment.Committed to cultivating students’ ability to use their knowledge to analyze and solve problems,participate in social practice,decision-making ability of social activities,help students establish correct values and become new talents with good quality.At the same time,the new round of curriculum reform is focused on cultivating students’ "core literacy".As a basic subject in the natural sciences,the high school physics curriculum aims to implement the educational goals of Lide Shuren.It condenses the core literacy of physics from the four dimensions of physics,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry,scientific responsibility and attitude.Improving the literacy of students’ physics is of paramount importance.The dimension of scientific responsibility and attitude clearly points out that it leads the students to understand the nature of science and the relationship between science,technology,society and environment,which happens to be highly compatible with the STSE education concept.Therefore,the implementation of STSE education concept in middle school physics education has become an important way to cultivate students’ core literacy.As the main resource for teachers to organize teaching and students to acquire knowledge,teaching materials are the most direct way to implement education reform,and also an important carrier to realize STSE education concept.Therefore,how to use STSE education resources in teaching materials creatively has become an important goal of middle school physics teachers in new curriculum reform.Based on the STSE education concept,the author mainly studied the STSE education resources in the high school physics textbooks issued by People’s Education Publishing House,Education Science Press and Shanghai Science and Technology Education Press in2004.(1)The STSE educational resource column,the STSE educational resource auxiliary column,the STSE educational resources in the text,and the STSE educational resources in the exercises are sorted out.(2)The presentation mode and characteristics of the STSE education resource column,the STSE education resource auxiliary column,the STSE education resources in the text and the STSE education resources in the exercises are summarized.(3)According to the characteristics of STSE educational resources in the textbooks,try to sum up the reasonable teaching strategies,and design the teaching fragments for how to use STSE educational resources for teaching introduction,new course teaching,problem teaching,experimental teaching and extracurricular practice activities.Finally,two complete teaching cases based on STSE educational resources are given.It is hoped that through this research,textbook writers and front-line teachers can be provided with rich teaching and research materials.At the same time,physics teaching researchers are urged to pay attention to the STSE education concept and make further efforts to improve students’ physical core literacy. |
