With the reform of curriculum and teaching all over the world, teaching methods of teachers has become the focus of the field of curriculum and teaching. Teaching is essential to fulfill the aims of teaching. Use of teacher’s teaching methods will directly affect the effect of classroom teaching. The new curriculum reform attaches great importance to the change of the teaching methods, which is embodied in the curriculum standard about how to reform and use the teaching methods. The Compulsory Education of Chinese Course Standards (2011 edition) has important guiding significance to Chinese teaching in primary school. As the important basis of Chinese teaching in primary school, it influences teachers’ teaching philosophy and students’ learning philosophy, changes the way of teaching and learning, and promotes teachers’ professional development and comprehensive development of students. However, to achieve the reform of teaching methods, how to choose, use and optimize teaching methods based on curriculum standards has become the focus and puzzle of primary school Chinese teachers. Therefore, this paper chooses the primary school Chinese teaching method based on the curriculum standard as the research content.Based on the analysis about the characteristics and application basis of primary school Chinese teaching method, this paper takes Xi’an as an example in three levels of primary school (school NO.1 is an experimental primary school, which affiliate some normal university that directly affiliated the ministry of education institutions. NO.2 is a full-time primary school directly affiliates Xi’an Yanta district bureau of education. NO.3 is the combination of urban and rural primary school which main contains migrant children in Xi’an urban district), and complements questionnaires, classroom observation and in-depth interviews to the teachers and students in three levels of primary school. The paper aims to investigate the application of teaching methods in elementary school Chinese teaching, analyze whether teachers select and use teaching methods based on the curriculum standard, put forward the problems existing in the current use of Chinese teaching methods in primary school, find out the factors, and propose the optimization suggestions which are based on the curriculum standard.This paper consists of the following parts:The first chapter is introduction. This part introduces research origin, research purpose and research significance, states the research ideas and methods, and introduces the innovation and shortcoming of the research. The part has laid a theoretical foundation for the research.The second chapter is theoretical discussion. In this section, the author defines the concept of teaching method, primary school Chinese teaching method, and primary school Chinese teaching method based on curriculum standard, analyzes their characteristics, and illustrates the theoretical basis of primary school Chinese teaching method based on curriculum standard.The third chapter is the present situation investigation. Through questionnaires, interviews and classroom observation to the use of Chinese teaching methods in primary school, the part collects the materials and data of the present practice status and concludes the practical modality of the Chinese teaching in primary school based on the curriculum standard.The fourth chapter is extraction and attribution of the main problems. According to analysis of investigation results, the part summarizes the current problems in the use of Chinese teaching methods based on the curriculum standard in primary school and finds out the corresponding factors.The fifth chapter is about optimization suggestions. This chapter reflects on the existing problems and factors and puts forward the corresponding optimization suggestions, in order to promote the accurate selection and correct use of primary school Chinese teaching methods based on the curriculum standard.
